Savannah Bulk Terminal Wood Pellet Storage Facility
PROJECT PROFILE
Our company's experience in the high volume storage and conveying of wood pellets at the Port of Panama City was instrumental in being awarded this project. This Atlantic Coast facility will be handling 800,000 tons per year of pellets.
The pellets will be received by rail from the Georgia Biomass Plant located in Waycross, Georgia and stored in concrete domes until being reclaimed and loaded onto vessels bound for Europe. The knowledge of material characteristics the industry and our company has gained will make this a successful, state of the art facility.
GW Systems has enjoyed an excellent working relationship with the project owners and anticipate a successful and on time start up.
